I don't remember when I first heard this not-in-the-bible beatitude but I do love it! There are innumerable examples of when I call upon it or share it with others but a recent need for it comes to mind. Getting "ready" for my 50th High School reunion, I picked up a few things to wear the month before. My plan was casual and comfortable. Low to flat shoes. The physical therapist told me years ago to give up my TJ Maxx shoes. No fun - no fair - compared to the platform shoes I wore in high school! Saturday night was supposed to be dressier.
